Flight School is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation organized and operating in furtherance of charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). We are dedicated to serving as a resource to high school seniors worldwide who are skeptical of the status quo, concerned about the state of the world, and committed to improving it. It’s for the path-breakers and pioneers willing to take a leap after high school and devote a year to trading classrooms and textbooks for a radical new curriculum: your lived experience. It’s for those ready to learn who they are, what the world needs, and what role they’ll play. It’s for those who run toward challenges (not away from them). Finally, it’s for those ready to develop intuition beyond their intellect, resolves more secure than your resume, and a life path more beautiful than what feels has been prescribed.

If we are not been able to resolve the dispute with you informally, both parties agree to resolve any claim, dispute, or controversy (excluding claims for injunctive or other equitable relief) arising out of or in connection with or relating to these Terms by binding arbitration by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under the Commercial Arbitration Rules and Supplementary Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes then in effect for the AAA, except as provided herein.
Unless both parties agree otherwise, the arbitration will be conducted in San Diego County. Each party will be responsible for paying their respective AAA filing, administrative and arbitrator fees in accordance with AAA rules. The award rendered by the arbitrator shall include costs of arbitration, reasonable attorneys’ fees, and reasonable costs for expert and other witnesses, and any judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this Section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from the courts for matters related to data security, intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Website.

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES; OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.
