Intuition

Cultivating inner knowing

A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:

Can you still be your true self while having different personalities?

A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:

Is there a universal language?

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:

Making new connections and rekindling old ones. I managed to meet one of my childhood lifelong friends who I hadn't seen in 2 years, when I had to go to Madrid for my visa.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:

The exhaustion after intense days. Illness caught up to me my energies were low.

I originally assumed:

I used to think... that in order to be friends with people with opposing political/global views, one had to avoid speaking about these topics.

These assumptions are changing:

Now I sense... That one can bond over differences, when both people respect the fact that both are able to have a respectful conversation about a conflicting topic.

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:

Defending my opinion in front of my friends who all didn't share my perspective.

Being intentionally away from technology and distractions has taught me:

I have done times away from tech before so I didn't really learn new thinks but I confirmed what I already expected from the tech retreat. I love how my sleep rhythm returns to the one of nature, and how my brain is at peace without constant stimulation.

Distant Family in Madrid

Nov 25, 2025

I had to travel to my country's capital for my Chinese visa and I had planned to stay in a hostal. However as soon as my Abuela heard of this she immediately called her cousin 'Angelines' who in turn called her daughter asking if she could host me. And that's how I ended up meeting my 3rd cousins, who were a really friendly family who kindly welcomed me into their home!

My friend Anna invited me to join her and Cecilia to go to the V&A museum in London! It was great to get out of the house and have fun with friends. We also actually saw items in the museum that we had studied together in History class last year so was fun to remember those memories. Also Cecilia gave me top tier advice for when I go to her city, Shanghai.

Meeting up with and old friend in his country.

When I first got off the train in Scotland I immediately heard a familiar voice, I turned around to look for my friend. It took me a second to realise I was in Scotland and everybody spoke with a funny Scottish accent, not just him.

During the weekend I stayed with him I got a glimpse of his daily life and a cool tour of his Uni. We managed to fit in a small hike despite the crazy winds from the storm that coincided with my visit!
