Intuition
Cultivating inner knowing
A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:
Who am I beyond this skin that I am in?
December 30, 2025
A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:
What does pan-indigeneity look like, and how are different Indigenous communities showing up for their people?

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:
Going to Philadelphia with my best friend Mya and celebrating Christmas with my family and friends.
December 30, 2025
A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:
I had a death in the family that hit both my family and I really hard. Navigating that loss while also trying to enjoy the limited time I have with my family and friends has been challenging, and the process is still going, but it gets better every day.

Assumptions I'm examining right now are:
Time/Attention
December 30, 2025
I originally assumed:
I used to think that there was always time. Whether that is time to be with loved ones, time to do an extra assignment, work, time to put stuff off and come to it later.
December 30, 2025
These assumptions are changing:
Now I sense time is more limited than I wanted to admit. From coming back home and seeing my niece grown up, to seeing my cousin for the first time in years and he is almost as tall as me, or not seeing my Uncle in the flesh before he passed, time is precious and ever moving.

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:
My technology detox and working on a farm, both things of which were very new to me, but pushed me in such good ways and helped me reset and reconnect!

Being intentionally away from technology and distractions has taught me:
Being online takes away my creativity, my sense of awareness, and ability to be present. I found that my sleep, social battery, and drive to create all improved when I stepped away from technology and distractions. I was able to truly listen into myself and honor what felt true.

Thank you for being brave and sharing your creativity with the flight school community. Your voice has helped me touch back in and embrace my creativity that I thought was gone!

Thank you for taking part of the small group sessions and helping me feel tethered to The Flight School community as I am traveling. Our in-depth conversations have helped give me a place to reflect on my past and inner questionings and give me something to look forward to!

Thank you so much for supporting me and being an amazing outlet to talk travel plans, balancing Morehead-Cain requirements with those of the Flight School, and being an overall amazing human!

Girl I’m just so excited to travel with you! I can’t wait until we’re together and exploring and adventuring. I’m so happy we got connected and I think we’re going to have such a blast. I’m so grateful you were just down to go with the flow and I can’t wait to see where we go.

Although we kept missing each other in our calls, our voice note updates taught me how beautiful it can be to connect with someone with intention and no burden. Thank you for being patient and open to exploring new ways of connecting overseas.

Although it might seem like a disaster at first, whatever happens is eventually for the better, and we'll find this out later. Thank you for reminding me of this!!

Magical Moments
Friend Reunion
•
Dec 30, 2025
This picture captures the day after my best friends and I had a Christmas celebration and reunion after not seeing one another for around four months. This night was full of laughter, side quests, shenanigans, love, and being present with one another - and also about 0-3 hours of sleep depending on the person :p. These girls always make my life magical by instilling love and understanding into our relationships, and I am forever grateful for the memories we make together!
Hobbit Hole
•
Sep 28, 2025
Last weekend, I was able to visit the Hobbiton movie set in Matamata, New Zealand. As a huge Lord of the Rings and Hobbit fan, seeing this in person was a dream come true. Walking by a hobbit hole for the first time made me feel like I entered into one of my favorite novels, helping reignite the kid in me who loved reading, exploring, and dreaming of fantastical worlds. This sense of joy is what makes my trip to Hobbiton my magical moment of the month!
Kiwi Thanksgiving
•
Nov 28, 2025
Final goodbyes with friends, host families, and the people who changed my life for the better. I have always spent Thanksgiving with the people I love, but this year the people may have looked different, but the sentiment was the same!
Redwoods at Night
•
Oct 25, 2025
Rotorua is a small town around three hours away from Auckland. It is know for its geothermal activity, natural beauty, and its Redwood trees. I had heard from many of my coworkers that the Redwood at night walk was one of the most beautiful things they had seen - they were not wrong. This picture captures the moment of me walking through the trees, almost 200 feet off the ground, and watching the light show brightening up the night sky. In this moment, I was in awe of nature's beauty and how it was combined with thoughtful art. I was grounded, fulfilled, and reminded of my humanity in a way that only nature and art can make you feel.
