Intuition

Cultivating inner knowing

A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:

How do I maintain my authentic self while serving the Community? How can I pour into my community without spilling the essence of who I am?

September 5, 2025

A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:

How does the universe mirror back the energy we give, and how can I align my actions with its rhythm of reciprocity?

The practices I’m finding most helpful at the moment are:

Meditation,Journaling,Rest,Time in Nature,Prayer

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was when I led a 4-day Entrepreneurial Training Camp in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, for the youth. Seeing them gain skills and motivation to become a generation of changemakers filled me with hope and renewed purpose.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:

When I overcommitted to responsibilities and realised I hadn’t left enough time to recharge myself.

Courage

Aligning action

Assumptions I'm examining right now are:

Success,Money

September 5, 2025

I originally assumed:

I used to think success meant earning more money, owning more things, and being recognised for material achievements.

September 5, 2025

These assumptions are changing:

Now I sense that true success is measured by the impact I have on others, the number of lives I touch, the hope I create, and the communities I help uplift. Money is useful, but it is not the ultimate measure of a meaningful life.

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:

As a newcomer in Kakuma Refugee Camp, I stepped out of my comfort zone by leading a gathering of community leaders to voice challenges. Though hesitant at first, I witnessed them open up, reminding me that leadership means creating space where silence becomes dialogue.

Compassion

Engaged Empathy

Something that is helping me build trusting relationships here is:

Working alongside her to host the camp showed me the power of shared vision. By collaborating in such a meaningful way, we built trust not only between ourselves but also with the young people we served.

Gratitude

Peers I'm grateful for:

Alakiir Makuach Diing Arok

I appreciate Alakiir for her kindness and commitment in co-hosting the Entrepreneurial Training Camp in Kakuma. Though not based in Kenya, she accepted without hesitation, inspiring youth with skills and showing the power of collaboration beyond borders

Fulfilment in Service

The photo captures me giving my skills and time to serve my community. Though it requires energy and effort, the act of service fills me with fulfilment and renews my motivation to offer the best version of myself.

Retreat at the Source

Kisumu

Jul 20, 2025

This photo captures a mini retreat at Lake Victoria, where I chose to begin my Launch Year journey and renew my commitment to community service. Being at the source of the Nile reminded me that great rivers begin in still waters, and that service flows best when we first pause to ground ourselves.
