Intuition

Cultivating inner knowing

A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:

How can I listen more carefully to what really gives me energy and meaning rather than what I think I should be doing?

December 31, 2025

A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:

How can I make my small everyday actions matter more in such a large impersonal universe?

The practices I’m finding most helpful at the moment are:

Journaling

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:

Returning back home and surfing with my dad for his birthday.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:

Having to say bye to my friends again after only seeing them for a few days.

Assumptions I'm examining right now are:

Time/Attention

December 31, 2025

I originally assumed:

I used to think being occupied = engaged.

These assumptions are changing:

Now I sense... that directing attentions to something matters more than time alone.

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:

Arriving in China!!!! and having to eat everything with chopsticks! Im progressing, but still make a joke of myself at the table.

Digital Detox Retreat

Number of days I've gone without technology

Number of days I've gone without technology

Being intentionally away from technology and distractions has taught me:

I have done times away from tech before so I didn't really learn new thinks but I confirmed what I already expected from the tech retreat. I love how my sleep rhythm returns to the one of nature, and how my brain is at peace without constant stimulation.

Distant Family in Madrid

Nov 25, 2025

I had to travel to my country's capital for my Chinese visa and I had planned to stay in a hostal. However as soon as my Abuela heard of this she immediately called her cousin 'Angelines' who in turn called her daughter asking if she could host me. And that's how I ended up meeting my 3rd cousins, who were a really friendly family who kindly welcomed me into their home!

Meeting up with and old friend in his country.

When I first got off the train in Scotland I immediately heard a familiar voice, I turned around to look for my friend. It took me a second to realise I was in Scotland and everybody spoke with a funny Scottish accent, not just him.

During the weekend I stayed with him I got a glimpse of his daily life and a cool tour of his Uni. We managed to fit in a small hike despite the crazy winds from the storm that coincided with my visit!

My friend Anna invited me to join her and Cecilia to go to the V&A museum in London! It was great to get out of the house and have fun with friends. We also actually saw items in the museum that we had studied together in History class last year so was fun to remember those memories. Also Cecilia gave me top tier advice for when I go to her city, Shanghai.
