What have you been going through and experiencing?
I’m celebrating in a way I never have before. It feels like life is gently pushing me forward, urging me to be braver every day. College acceptance, reunions, unexpected opportunities, bonds stretching across time and distance, love in its many forms, life has been so animating.

Intuition
Cultivating inner knowing
A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:
How can I care for my orí? What is this unfamiliar feeling moving through me right now?
April 22, 2026
A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:
How can I dance between celebration and care without leaving either behind?
April 22, 2026
The practices I’m finding most helpful at the moment are:
Rest,Journaling

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:
When I started singing again.
April 22, 2026
A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:
When I realized that I might have been a little naive about the good relationships I thought I had built over time.
April 22, 2026
Courage
Aligning action
Assumptions I'm examining right now are:
Time/Attention
April 22, 2026
I originally assumed:
I used to believe my phone was simply a tool and that I had full control over how and when I used it. I saw it as something helpful, not something that could shape my behavior.
April 22, 2026
These assumptions are changing:
I’m realizing how dependent I’ve become. I often reach for it without thinking, and it takes more of my attention than I’d like.
April 22, 2026
A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:
Spending time without my phone and allowing myself to sit with silence instead of escaping it.
April 22, 2026
Compassion
Engaged Empathy
Something that is helping me build trusting relationships here is:
Spending quality time with community members, whether by scheduling in-person or online meetings.

Being intentionally away from technology and distractions has taught me:
There are different pathways I can take to stay tuned and connected to the world.

I really appreciated your insights during our discussion on reimagining education. Your perspective, together with Tristan's, on nurturing curiosity and students at the centre of learning, added great depth. It reminded me how powerful learning becomes when driven by passion.

Magical Moments

feeding body and soul
Ilhéus, Bahia
•
Sep 30, 2024
activism gives me a sense of worth and importance within myself. crossing km far away, to ground in a city willing to advocate, create bonds and co-create a space to discuss and impact education made my days in ilhéus the greatest ever.
by august 29-31, connection, people and purpose fed my body and soul. my body was fed with shared meals, in the presence of students from all the cities in my state, bahia, all together motivated by the wish to reclaim improvement, dignity and the right to their bodies to exist. my soul was fed by the sense of "i'm not alone," the drums, the shouted songs reverberating everywhere and the human warmth were all things that set this experience apart.
