What have you been going through and experiencing?
I have been exploring how my insecurities affect my closer relationships and how to not lose myself when I'm trying to compromise for and comfort people I deeply care about.

Intuition
Cultivating inner knowing
A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:
What is animation for me? How to be the one initiating animation in unanimated settings?

A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:
Is there a collective consciousness?

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:
So much of my attention is usually focused on the future goals and aspirations, but this month I got to slow down and reflect on the progress I have made to come this far and give attention to the journey that I've not yet celebrated. This felt so empowering and made me hopeful.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:
I am unpacking the effects of growing up as the eldest child. I've noticed I haven't had much experience prioritising myself in group settings or voice what I really need to avoid inconveniencing others. Now living as a guest while travelling has resurfaced that self-suppression.

Courage
Aligning action
Assumptions I'm examining right now are:
Time/Attention
April 6, 2026
I originally assumed:
I'm a heavy thinker and thus to process something I always thought the more mental attention I give to a problem and the more time I take to 'think through' it, then the more I have processed it.
April 6, 2026
These assumptions are changing:
Mental attention doesn't always mean progress in processing. Sometimes the thought-loops are doing the opposite of moving forward and letting myself truly process as thinking overshadows the feelings.

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:
I reached out to a friend to invite her to an event even though I felt I'd previously lost connection with her. Often times I think when I drift apart with someone that it's because of me- maybe I was not interesting enough. But now I'm finding the courage to initiate connection.

Thank you so much, Jasmine, for offering your presentation about disability! Wow, your perspective really hit me on a deeper level and opened my eyes on how much is there that is looked through the fingers but actually requires collective attention and action.

Thank you so much for noticing during our coaching sessions that I was a little bit distant. I was having a tough week because of my work, and it made me so happy to see that someone noticed and worried about me (I already said this to you, but I love to appreciate people so!) <3

I appreciate your presence and I'll look forward to our next call, and this growing connection. I feel this deeper sense of connection to you: perhaps because you remind me of one my friends, our similar background or just in the way you show up in our friday sessions. Tänan teid

Magical Moments

Experiencing third class train rides
Galle to Colombo

I have fallen in love with taking trains in Sri Lanka. Interestingly, I find myself developing silent connections with strangers on the train after many long hours of coexisting. From a man who was drying the train floor after it had rained so I will be more comfortable sitting on it while watching a beautiful sunset and my hair flowing with the wind to the two little girls who couldn't stop smiling after I offered them my backpack to sit on– thank you for making my day!
