What are the impacts that art/creativity have in our childhood and now?

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:

Continuing receiving college rejections and afraid to travel for so long and come back with nothing to do after the flight school. Also worried about how my mom is going to deal with my absence.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:

Going into a weekend travel with my sister and my mom to the beach

These assumptions are changing:

Now I used to think that even volunteers opportunities can be used by capitalism and how important it’s to understand your boundaries and what you want to explore.

Lizzy and I had a call in August that REALLY helped me replan my steps and look at all the possibilities I had in my surroundings. She's been very kind to me this last month, reaching out to keep me engaged in the community. I'm very grateful for the kindness and accountability.

Brazil's Independence Day

Aracaju

Sep 7, 2025

Last week, september 7th, it was Brazil’s Independence Day. From early morning, the city was filled with music and parades, a big celebration of national pride. What touched me most, the magical moment, was the diversity I saw on the main avenue, students and performers of different genders, races, body types, and backgrounds proudly representing their schools and towns. In the past, parades often highlighted only the “ideal” few, but this time inclusion and representation stood at the capital. Families gathered, elders watched with joy, and the atmosphere radiated unity. For me, it was magical to witness a Brazil that truly mirrored its people.
