Intuition

Cultivating inner knowing

A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:

How can I trust my curiosity and believe that there is learning to be done there?

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:

Being nomited as a fellow for the upcoming semester, it was truly like a dream come true. Overnight I was filled with animation and curiosity, planning an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life with my friends of the community. I felt incredibly grateful.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:

Missing my father, recently I've been more emotional with that and thinking about him every moment.

Assumptions I'm examining right now are:

I originally assumed:

I used to think that having a plan B would bring me stability

These assumptions are changing:

Now I see that even Plan Bs can fall apart, and it's important to stay grounded and aware of the possibilities

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:

I joined a learning design course with education professionals who had over 30 years of experience. As the only student, I initially felt out of place, but I chose to engage and learn anyway. That discomfort taught me how transformative challenging spaces can be

Brazil's Independence Day

Aracaju

Sep 7, 2025

Last week, september 7th, it was Brazil’s Independence Day. From early morning, the city was filled with music and parades, a big celebration of national pride. What touched me most, the magical moment, was the diversity I saw on the main avenue, students and performers of different genders, races, body types, and backgrounds proudly representing their schools and towns. In the past, parades often highlighted only the “ideal” few, but this time inclusion and representation stood at the capital. Families gathered, elders watched with joy, and the atmosphere radiated unity. For me, it was magical to witness a Brazil that truly mirrored its people.
