What have you been going through and experiencing?

What does success look like for me?

Intuition

Cultivating inner knowing

A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:

What does success look like for me?

January 25, 2026

A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:

What are the ways in which other humans find happinest and contentment in every corrner of the earth?

The practices I’m finding most helpful at the moment are:

Yoga,Other

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:

Always finding myself surrounded by the best friends and family. Even when my light was dwindling, my friends and family were there for me with a shoulder to cry on or a joke to make me laugh. Being back at home after 3.5 months has reminded me again of my amazing community.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:

Boundaries that I had put in place were broken. It was a situation that I thought I had closed, and it was hard to reopen that chapter. It forced me to feel that I was regressing in my progress. But reminding myself that healing is not linear.

Aligning action

Assumptions I'm examining right now are:

Success,Happiness

January 25, 2026

I originally assumed:

My version of success relied heavily on my academic and professional accomplishments, and those in turn would make me happy. I also thought that my happiness was heavily dependent on external factors.

These assumptions are changing:

After being in the flight school, I was influenced by my meditation retreat, I feel that a lot of my previous beliefs are changing. I am learning more about what it means to be happy and animated in life.

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:

Opening up to my family more about what was going on in my life. This was one of my biggest struggles in the past, and I found it very difficult to open up to people on the most intimate parts of my life. By starting to open up more, I am breaking the cycle I once held.

Being intentionally away from technology and distractions has taught me:

I have a lot of work to do on my attetion span and my reliance on technology. But it has taught me lessons on being present in the moment.

Jacey Hilburn

Thank you for taking part of the small group sessions and helping me feel tethered to The Flight School community as I am traveling. Our in-depth conversations have helped give me a place to reflect on my past and inner questionings and give me something to look forward to!

Stepping into my new home

Sawtell

Sep 15, 2025

During my first morning in Sawtell, my roommate woke me up to have a dip in the ocean. Stepping onto the sand for the first time made me feel like this place was truly meant to be my home for the next months.
